Afford Lawn Care Services or Buy Your Own Lawn Mower?

By Law

The way this article is entitled is quite special and it probably represents one of the most popular questions that people, especially those that recently moved to a house out of the city, are trying to find answers to. If you had the money to get a really nice real estate, you probably have something left to make a really lawn paradise out of your backyard as fast as possible. Anyways, not all people are fond of do it yourself methods when it comes to taking care of their lawn in time; responsible homeowners would like to know this: SHOULD THEY HIRE LAWN CARE SERVICES AND PAY BIG MONEY FOR THEIR SERVICES????? …. Or buy a lawn mower and a bunch of literature and just start reading and experimenting. I believe that both approaches and questions to this problems are correct and during the lines of this “little” (I promise to do everything possible to make it as little and as informative as possible) I’ll try to share with you some of my thoughts about grass care, this awesome hobby that more and more people all over the world are intensively becoming fond of.

Not so long ago I realized that if you set a proper goal and it is a correct and reliable one, you will achieve it – SOONER or LATER… it doesn’t really matter. What I pay attention to when trying to take care of my lawn, either hiring a lawn care service contractor or whole company while I am away for business and my family has no clue how to deal with it or doing it on my own by trying to learn as many DIY lawn care techniques as possible, is that you have to learn how to take advantage of things when and while you still can. Let’s take a look at these problems from a following perspective. If you are a total beginner when it comes to lawn care, I really recommend that you find someone with more experience than you have. The ideal of every perfect American family is to have some nice green grass in the backyard and there is nothing that you can do about it. That’s why I would like to say that hiring a lawn care service company, especially after moving to a place (city or state) where you don’t know anyone is simply a must. This way you’ll be able to check their activity and processes of taking care of your lawn and you’ll start to learn many new things. You’ll also get to know some folks around and that is also a good experience when just moving to a new place and trying to “integrate into their society”. Pay close attention to what kind of mower they use (in case you haven’t gotten one yet) and use how to use it, how they move it correctly and how they setup it.

Affording Lawn Care Services for Beginners

Beginners are always quite paranoid of trying new things. If you believe that having a beautiful lawn somewhere in your garden is going to help a lot in your life than this is what you should pay attention to. I really consider that having something that you really like in this life is going to help you to achieve other important goals. Now, the problem is that beginners don’t usually know where to start from and this is quite a tiny problem, but there is a way to solve this as well. Don’t be afraid, just call a few lawn care companies and ask what kind of contractors they have and what kind of services they provide. Don’t be shy to ask, that’s not the way to do it. You also have to make sure that you query them about how much is this approximately going to cost you if – INSERT YOUR LAWN CARE DESIRE HERE – so forth and so on. Also make sure you get to know if they send a person that can use the tools you have in your garage or are their contractors fully equipped with their own stuff. This is important. My friend bob from Chicago had a similar issue when he got at the door a guy (from a lawn care service company) that was whistling and had nothing in his hands; in fact he was holding his hands in his pockets. Now that’s NOT THE WAY a PROFESSIONAL LAWN CARE GUY would act… I believe… at least it’s pretty weird. Anyway, the idea is that he had no lawn mower; he had no basic tools, just a hat with the logo of the company ;) Can you imagine a LOL picture like this? I laughed a lot after Bob enlightened me about his experience. Life might be sooo funny sometimes. SO, the IDEA… let’s get back to our main idea for this paragraph. I suggest that beginners should afford even some expensive lawn care services. BUT!!! Regard it as an investment for their knowledge and for their lawn care. When you hire a good service you better stay at home and watch how they run their business or you might lose some really precious information there.

Should You Buy Your Own Lawn Mower?

Please don’t get offended, but I believe that this is one of the most stupid questions that a homeowner can ask. OF COURSE you NEED to PURCHASE a good LAWN MOWER. How are you planning to maintain your lawn in the future? Maybe some of your kids are fond of taking care of it with their own hands, without the help of “professionals”… haven’t you thought about it? I honestly believe that when someone starts to talk about the necessity of acquiring a good lawn care mower, you need to insist that the does (well at least if the guy is really serious about enjoying this life with a nice juice lawn in the backyard of his nice house). So, the question related to the requirement to purchase a lawn mower (even a cheap one for the beginning) is simply closed. I assume that you don’t need to get obsessed between the idea of lawn care services and getting your own tools. If you have a house on land, if you own a property, if you decided to start your own lawn and keep it safe and in a good condition for your kids and family you simply NEED to have the basic tools and equipment required for taking care of the lawn. Remember that even those “contactors” or “experts” (call them as you wish) will constantly visit you in order to check how your lawn is growing and how the grass reacts to the new fertilizer they treated it with, you still need to take care of the irrigation and turn it on in the evening when the sun is not to hot or early in the morning. Folks, get a damn lawn mower and start working with it yourself, try to experiment without destroying your lawn too much. The answer to this question is one hundred percent POSITIVE: Yes you should buy a lawn mown + all the other necessary equipment even if you prefer to outsource the work of taking care of your lawn.
